A 500-Cr Aid to Save the Forests!
In a recent big development for the bio-diversity scenario of Assam, the French Government has agreed in principle to provide a whopping 500-cr support to help carry forward and enhance Assam Government's initiatives to restore its forest ecosystems and preserve the beautiful and exotic flora and fauna - the jewel of our State, and pride too.
Official sources say that a 5-member delegation comprising of French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain; Consul General Virgine Corteval; Country General Bruno Bosle; French Sonsulate Anjita Roychaudhary and AFD Co-ordinator Ankit Tuslyan arrive in Guwahati to hit off a four-day long official visit.
Of the Rs. 500-cr total aid, AFD will contribute Rs. 400 -cr and the Centre will contribute Rs. 100-cr. This is important for the current situation as it demands of us, and from the populace a bias for action. We, at ManuheManuhorbabe are extremely pleased with the support forwarded by the French Government; what are your thoughts? Join the conversation @ManuheManuhorbabe1 on Twitter and on Facebook.
